Overall a great kayaking trip. 4 miles round trip so could be done in a half day. Lots of sea and bird life, stunning views, and fun paddle. Deception Island is a beautiful little island, also fun to explore. Good landing point in bay on NE side. Currents can get strong in Deception Pass so recommend avoid going too far south into the pass.
