Trip Overview

River was very low and made it hard to paddle with canoes that had keels. Had large rocks and boulders and good deep pools. Plenty of hang overs for bass fishing.

Exit point is at Dodgetown Rd. Bridge stream.

After rain stream is very hard to walk and very fast current.
Has good size Small Mouth Bass

Accommodations:

shade trees with nice parking lot and picnic tables; also has restrooms which are maintained by the city.

Directions:

Hwy 89 N. to Hwy 8 N. to Sheppard Mill Rd. cross over river bridge to make a left and parking lot is straight ahead. Has 2 handicap parking spots.
