Trip Overview

My family and I rented the smaller of two cabins on Craig Lake. The weather was great and we caught many fish. Walleye were most common and so have some for dinner they are very good eating. Eight to 10 fish a day was the average. The northern end of the lake produces the most fish. Northern, walleye and smallies. I rented the large cabin 10 yrs ago and the fishing is as good as it was then. This year we shall be in the large cabin June 17-June 23. We have fished Crooked Lake (1/2 mi due east of Craig Lake) and found it one of the best largemouth lakes we have ever fished. It also has large pike (37 1/2" was the largest caught). Clair Lake is due North and Teddy Lake is west of Craig. We will try Teddy Lake on the morning of the 17th. All in all its a great place to go. We have decided we will rent one of t he cabins every year for it is such great fun.
