Coecles Harbor Marine Water Trail in New York

Trip Overview

Coecles Harbor Marine Water Trail, winds through the Mashomack Preserve. The trail is approximately 5 miles round trip, allow 3 to 4 hours, I made a day out of it and explored the whole harbor. There are buoys 20 feet from shore marked with green leaves and white numbers. 1 to 13, the map is numbered, so you know what your looking at. You will see osprey's and their nests, deer, great blue heron, turtles, ducks and fish. Bring a lunch and land on Taylors Island to eat, bring a fishing pole and a camera.
