This was a very enjoyable paddle on a very calm river. We paddled upstream 3 miles and back for an enjoyable and quiet Sunday afternoon paddle. The leaves are just starting to turn making the scenery quite beautiful. The boat ramp is well maintained and easy to put in our kayaks. I imagine that it may be busier during the summer season, but for early fall, it was very easy to find parking and there was no line of motor boat trailers waiting to put in or pull out.
