Trip Overview
3-day, 2-night kayak camping expedition along the virtually undeveloped Chesapeake Bay shoreline of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Launch in the watermen’s community of Saxis end in the 1680 Colonial port of Onancock with an optional night in a cozy B&B. Spend two nights camping on wild islands on the Chesapeake Bay. The fully-outfitted kayak camping trip includes sea kayaks, camping gear, and all meals from lunch on day 1 through lunch on day 3. (Discount available for bringing own kayak and/or camping gear.)
Four and Five day trips also available, starting in Crisfield, MD to Onancock, VA.
Gear Notes
10% discount for bringing your own sea kayak (must be at least 16 feet long with double bulkheads) or camping gear (tent, sleeping bag and pad that are compact enough to fit inside your kayak.)
