If you're looking to be spoiled at a five star resort, this is not the place. This is old Florida atmosphere with available lodging, camping and spaces for your RV. Bring the stuff you need! The place is just a beautiful environment to be one with nature without a doubt. The lodges are no frills, very clean and comfortable, and the service excellent. This is not a place for your honeymoon, but is a very laid back place to enjoy friends and paddle. We brought our own kayaks so cannot speak to their inventory but there were plenty available for rent if needed. The dock is launch able but is a little rough.

The paddle is fun and the 7 Sisters Cave is the most popular as you can tell by the crowds on the weekend. The water is clear and 72 degrees all year round. There are several places to go on "The Chaz" like "The Crack", Baird Creek, Snapper Hole, Tressle, Salt Creek, Potter Creek, Dog Island just to mention a few on your way to the Gulf. You could easily spend a few days on The Chaz with all kinds of different places to go.
As our Paddling Places Florida Season 3 Opener wound down we knew we had selected the right place. Just know it's old school Florida, so don't expect frills and foo foo because it's not there. But fun, camaraderie, laid back evenings and great paddling is there for you to enjoy.
