Trip Overview

Friends and I spent about half a day on the lake - on kayaks as well as a raft. Weather was beautiful and sunny, yet a cool 87 deg. day. And very little wind. Great for paddling and swimming. Got to (intentionally) practice emergency kayak re-entry methods that day .

Safety Notes

Nothing of note.

Gear Notes

Aruba 10, and Aruba 12 ss, 10' inflatable dinghy raft.

Conditions

Sunny, clear, low wind. Smooth water surface.

Portage Notes

Muddy soft clay banks - glad there was water spigots available to lean off feet/shoes after kayaking.
