Trip Overview
Remarkably nice day with very few waves. Few people on the lake - so it was a nice day to explore. Hit the shorelines nearby and watched hawks, cranes, turtles, and a few snakes, etc... Then paddled out to the peninsula and swam for a bit. Found MANY fossils at the shoreline here - makes me wonder where the quarry was from where they brought in the rocks. A total of 3.5 miles paddling.Safety Notes
