Took our first Catawba river float this year.. Great new lenght for us.. Went form The 21/77 bridge area to the Catawba Indian Reservation.. We took about 3-1/2 hours leisurely, could have made it in 2 hours if needed. Easy access and easy dismounting areas, saw very few paddlers, but lots of great wildlife.
Safety Notes
Water was a LITTLE high, which wasnt as good as we had hoped..
Conditions
Water was a tad "Dingy" and high due to all the rain.
