Trip Overview

This was the first paddle of 2015. Day before Mothers Day we wanted to get out to the Coast.

This is a great location right next to the Pacific Ocean, Bayocean Peninsula County Park and Tillamook Bay. About a 3+ mile circumnavigation with awesome views, Seabirds, Beaver Lodges and beautiful flowers!

We took our time (2+ hours on the water) then drove down to Oceanside for lunch. Just an all 'round great time!

Accommodations:

Easy put-in at the boat ramp at the bottom of Bayshore Dr

Fees:

No fees, parking along the road

Directions:

West on 26 from Portland to 6, then on to Tillamook. Continue west on 131 towards 3 Capes Scenic, then right on Bayocean Rd NW, and on to the lake.
