Cape Fear in North Carolina

A self-supported trip created by MikeyLikesIt

Trip Overview

Ran section of Cape Fear River from Wildlife ramp at Lillington to Erwin. Water was low 'about 1.3 ft.' on water level gauge, weather was hot, company was good.

Had a meet up at Erwin with some out of town Kayakers Paige and Jill who wanted to run this section with someone who had done it before. Once we broke the ice and got on our way everything fell into place. Rapids were pretty good one's and two's and a possible three.

Seen lots of wildlife and a good time was had by all I hope. thanks for letting me guide you down this section and hope we can plan some future trips. Nice meeting ya'll and if you hear any banjo's playing better take flight!

Please take your trash with you! Leave at as you found it!
Have a good one!
