We put in at an unmarked Public Stream Access on Cold Stream Rd. and paddled to the Rt 127 Bridge. About 7 miles.
We fished the whole way and had some nice smallmouth. The water was down about a foot from the last time in March, but this allowed us to pick our lines more easily. Very enjoyable day on the water.

Rt 50 to Capon Bridge then take Cold Stream Rd. about 5 miles to unmarked Public Stream Access (PSA). Then continue on to Slanesville and turn right into Rt 127. Go about 5 miles to the bridge over the Cacapon river just before Bloomery. PSA on north side of bridge on the left.
