Trip Overview

The Broad River between the Hwy 213 access point in Peak and I-20 is spectacular. The seclusion and wildlife are totally unique. When paddling down the Broad River, rarely do you run into another human being. Bald Eagles and Otters run rampant and wild. The annual blooming of the the Rocky Shoals Spider Lily is an event to mark on your calendars!

Fees:

You must have a float plan completed with Harbison State Forest.

Directions:

Take I-76 North to Peak. Turn onto Hwy 213 East. Access Point will be near a bridge. Harbison State Forest also has an access point. The FINAL takeout point is at I-20. You must get out there because of a really dangerous divison dam.
