Trip Overview
At Williams and Hall, they know scouts like no other outfitter in Ely, Minnesota. They have served hundreds of Scout Troops like yours. The owners, Blayne and Kevin, have held just about every possible adult leader position there is, including Scoutmaster. Blayne is an Eagle Scout, as are his three sons, and Kevin’s son. Because of their own scouting experience, they understand your needs and challenges as a scout leader. As an adult leader, you will appreciate the knowledge they bring to your trip planning and execution.
They will work closely with you to structure a true wilderness high adventure trip that meets the needs and abilities of the Boy Scouts in your troop. They custom design your itinerary, handle menus and food, and help with permits, and their equipment is top-notch. Boy Scouts have been venturing the Boundary Waters for nearly a century - a perfect place to put the Scout Motto, Be Prepared, to the test.

In order to make sure your trip is safe and successful, at Williams and Hall they make sure you are prepared with basic safety information before you enter the BWCA and Quetico.
Gear Notes
As North America's only outfitter specializing in ultra-lightweight canoe outfitting, Williams and Hall's canoes, tents, sleeping bags, packs and food are custom made to their specifications. They outfit with We-No-Nah Kevlar canoes and Alumacrft aluminium canoes.
Conditions
This adventure takes you deep into the Boundary Waters and Quetico wildernesses. Conditions can change quickly. Always be prepared and exercise good judgement.
