Trip Overview
Bouie River (Creek on map) from Hwy 49 to Peps Point Road
We put in at the boat ramp where US 49 crosses the Bouie River and pulled out at the boat ramp where Pep's Point Road crosses the river. It's a good 6 mile trip that took us 3 hours with a few rest stops on the way. The river is a little low (1.7' according to NOAA) so we had to drag in a few spots.
With the river low there were a lot of logs across that made it a little of a challenge, but overall it was a good scenic float.
