Trip Overview

A good place to Whitewater kayak or canoe during lunchbreak, or after work. A 1/2 mile stretch with a ton of playholes. Good place to kayak after you are ready to take a big step away from flat water, but also a blast of fresh water for any old pros who enjoy rodeo boating.

There are restrooms below the takeout, in the park.

Directions:

From Denver, Get to US36 and take that into boulder West bound. When it turns to the north, it turns into 28th Street. Turn off of 28th street onto arapahoe. follow this to Ebin G. Fine Park. Park somewhere, then hike up the path about 1/2 a mile, and put in. Normal put in is at the rock dam-like diversion.

Launches:

Normal put in is at the rock dam-like diversion. a Recommended take out is right below the bridge after the big hole "Widowmaker" The sandbar makes a good takeout as long as you avoid the old hippies and their naked children.
