Trip Overview

There hasn't been a report made about Bluegrass FWA in several years and the last report focused more on fishing rather than recreational paddling.

Three of the lakes in the FWA are excellent to paddle and explore. I'm generally out there 2-3 times per week and still find new scenery. My favorite time to go is at night when the critters are out. The 3 larger pits are about 1.5 miles long with fingers and coves to divert to.

This link will take you to maps of the area:

I guess that I should mention that the Bluegill and Crappie fishing is very good, but I'm out there to paddle.
