Trip Overview

We went on a nice 5 or 6 miles paddle this past Sunday, took about 2.5 hours. We dropped in at Pizzuro Dog Park and got out at Big Walnut Park off of Livingston Ave in East Columbus.

You have to wade through some poison ivy in both parks so beware and wash your legs off when you get in your boat.

Nice, quiet river, some current in spots but not anything too bad. You paddle past the airport golf course, under a couple of bridges, nice shale walls. Lots of wildlife and birds.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy relaxing paddle.
