Trip Overview

Started by leaving the boat ramp on the north side of Caloosahatchee River and traveling southeast to the mouth of Bedman Creek almost directly across from boat ramp. The beautiful banks of this lush creek make it a very shaded and easy paddle. There was a large amount of bass and other fish along with birds and turtles, (no gators seen this day.)

The longer we paddled the shallower it got and remarkable the clarity of the water which made it inviting take a well deserved dip.

The trip took about four and a half hrs with a couple of fallen Palmetto I had to do the limbo for.
