A self-supported trip created by Troopmaster

Trip Overview

Popular scenic stretch albeit this is an ambitious length for a single day of paddling when water levels are low in late summer. Compton Rapids and “The Ledge” provide the most fun. At Compton, stay right, single file and well spaced. Troop 1212 of Trail Life USA led a dozen or so adventuring Trailmen on this paddle trip. Water levels are low in late summer. Steady paddling required.
