Found this doing a Google search for boat ramps near me. Opened up on paddling.com, which I had never been on this website before-what a great resource to find new places to explore! Ayers Lake I have driven by hundreds of times but never knew there was access available. This is a small lake nestled in behind route 202 in Rochester/Barrington. Very easy going, not much big boat traffic but motors are allowed and around. Fairly shallow water with many private homes/cottages as well as a private beach and a campground. It's a great hidden gem close to home for us. Now I'm a subscriber on paddling.com too, anxious to find more new waterways to kayak in.
