The trip out on lake Argonne was about 15 minutes total, I paddled about 3/4 across the lake from the boat launch (not many other places to launch from), due to huge rocks surrounding the coastline. It's a easy and pleasant ride, some birds and geese around the lake. To launch from the boat launch follow the signs to the lake and it will be your first right after you make a right towards the lake. The launch is on the SE corner of the lake.
