Easy and free parking on the east side of the creek, just south of the 1-way bridge in Funkstown next to Pop Pop’s and the fire station. A leisurely paddle took right at 2 hours, and that included on portage. There’s a blockage of the creek about a mile into the paddle.

Portage Notes
We exited left and there was knee deep sucking mud. I’d try right next time or exit the creek farther upstream.
