The first three days feature a 3-day Algonquin Park canoe trip - the quintessential way to experience Algonquin’s wilderness and waterways. With stellar opportunities to see wildlife, the canoe trip moves at a relaxed pace with loads of time to search for moose, swim and roast s'mores around the campfire. Stay at spectacular campsites and feast on back-country gourmet meals cooked over the fire. On the third afternoon, you paddle back to the canoe trip base at Algonquin Park Access # 1 and head to the Algonquin Log Cabin for a swim, sauna or shower. Enjoy a well deserved cold beer or a wine and cheese on the lakeside sundeck! The Log Cabin is the perfect finishing note to the wilderness camping of the Algonquin Park canoe trip. The cozy ambiance, wood-fired sauna and tasty home style meals served up at the harvest table hit the perfect tone. The last two days offer more options to explore with a voyageur canoe excursion and picnic lunch on Surprise lake, options to hike to lookouts, and super fun Eco Challenge. Of course, you can always just relax, read or take a nap. The Log Cabin is quiet with numerous decks, docks and places to escape and explore.
