A Beginners Awesome Kayak Experience

Trip Overview

This was a great launch spot for us as new kayakers. The launch ramp is made for steady boarding and landing. No wobbly water and holding on to your boat to get on. There is A wicked cool dock with launch pads that hold your boat while you load your dry bag and yourself. I’ve never seen this before. I can’t describe it, but wow, it’s like putting your kayak on the ground and then pushing off!
The water and mangroves were perfect and the water isn’t super deep so there is no worry of flipping over and drowning.. not that I flipped ... I just didn’t wanna be worried about it!!
You could get a little discombobulated if you don’t pay attention and mark land marks in your mind as another review mentioned. This is most definitely true. This was an amazing day and a place we will launch from again. There is a rack and water to wash your boat and there is a hose there. One review said bring your own hose .. but it looks like they added one. There are other beginner and experienced kayakers around so you have people to talk to about the experience but not so many that the launch or water is crowded.
Kudos to the #CityofSeminole for adding this kayak park. The other amenities seem to make the community happy too!
