Immerse yourself in connecting and refreshing. Five days is great; a sixth day is amazing. This longer base camp experience allows even more opportunity to explore further afield or closer to camp, more fully aware of what's going on in the forest and ocean surroundings.
West Coast Expeditions' kayaking guides are trained and certified with the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC, Association of Canadian Sea Kayak Guides, Paddle Canada, or as appropriate for the specific program. They follow and frequently exceed industry practices for guide-to-guest ratios, safety equipment, contingency options, and certifications, including appropriate first aid credentials and experience and work together with guests to sensibly manage safety-related decisions to maximize everyone's enjoyment.
Top quality equipment is provided in new or near-new condition. West Coast Expeditions offers paddling jackets, and both double and single fibreglass (and even Kevlar) kayaks in a wide variety of styles and models to suit a range of skill levels and bodies. Each kayak has a spray skirt, a manual bilge pump, bulkheads for flotation, paddles, and adjustable seats with foot controlled rudders.
