Escape with TerraTrek on this 5 Day/4 Night Bicycle and Multi-Sport Vacation through the San Juan Islands. Only a short drive from Seattle or Vancouver B.C., the San Juan Archipelago is an ideal getaway because of our long days of sunshine and plenty of activities. Enjoy cycling along quiet two-lane country roads lined with wildflowers that wind down to spectacular vistas of neighboring islands and snowcapped mountain ranges, hiking around lakes that lead down to waterfalls, and one day of whale watching aboard a comfortable boat or kayaking past pebble-stone coves and rocky islets in orca whale territory! The San Juan Islands are abundant with bald eagles, fox, deer, seals, sea lions and orca whales.
We provide all the accommodations and food. Enjoy fresh local cuisine and stay at luxurious inns or sleep under the stars with our first-class camping trips. We provide all of the gear you will need or you may bring your own bike. All of our groups are van supported and guided by naturalists. We take care of all of the details from planning the daily activities to finding the best accommodations available. You will eat well morning, noon, and night with delicious locally grown food! We specialize in small groups so we can be flexible with your needs. Singles, couples and families or groups are welcome. Founded in 2001 by second-generation islanders, TerraTrek supports our local community through buying from small local businesses, hiring local staff when possible and through community involvement.
