Trip Overview
A scenic canoe or kayak paddle on the Peace River to appreciate the wild lands, history and agricultural aspects all in one trip. You will meet at Peace River Cabins & Outdoors riverbank site, followed by about 1 hr. shuttle in an air conditioned van upstream to Elk Island Park. After unloading all gear, a safety and skills briefing will ensure everyone is comfortable to set out on the river. Following that, the paddling begins! There will be 2 hiking and rest stops, viewing attractions of interest, plus a riverbank lunch rustled up by the guide. The trip is approximately 8-9 hrs including shuttle, breaks and meals. You end at the Peace River Cabins & Outdoors site with a delicious steak dinner, and leisurely campfire time!
