Sandlake. The most pristine estuary (maybe) on the Oregon coast. Shallow with two principal channels. Good at high tide and at low tide, but at mid tide routefinding is difficult. On incoming tides - NOT outgoing - the bay entrance offers great open ocean swells and kayak surfing, always reasonably close to shore because the entrance is narrow.
