Strictly a "pull over side of road" put-in site. You'll need to lower your kayak down a steep grass embankment so bring a rope and some friends. You'll use the concrete bridge footer to step into your boat. Why start here? It's away from the roads, quiet, and wild life viewing is usually good. The Lime Lakes Reclamation to the north makes this the first put-in going south. Downsides - can be a few tires and other trash on the riverbanks and make sure there's enough water in the river [ie, can't see any gravel on the bottom] before starting. Next stop is the Canal Fulton Park with rest rooms, a large parking lot, and nice Visitors Center explaining the Ohio-Eire Canal.
