Description

Personal canoes and kayaks are permitted on Towne Lake. I emailed McKinney Parks and Recs and they replied back that it is permitted.

Discription: "Towne Lake is a 22 acre lake managed by the City of McKinney Parks and Recreation. It is located just east of Central Expressway in McKinney, TX, between Eldorado Pkwy and Virginia Pkwy.

The park has three parking lots conveniently close to lauch points located on the east and west sides of the lake.

The lake is a popular for fishing and hosts an annual Trout Derby."
