Toonigh Creek Falls

Lake Allatoona

Description

Small waterfall that feeds into Lake Allatoona. This location has to be paddled to and there are no amenities besides a trash can. It's a nice place to pull up the kayaks and anchor the boats, maybe hang some hammocks, play in the water, bump some tunes, chill out, and enjoy the scenery. Easily accessible in a kayak but could be difficult in a boat with a deep draft. It gets really shallow along the banks approaching the falls even when the lake is full and can be unpassable for larger boats when the lake's water level is low. I put "Campsites" as an amenity since I had to pick something and it's a good place to hangout, but it is definitely not a formal campsite and I do not know whether or not camping is permitted.
