Tillicum Beach Park

Description

Just off east Camano Drive, this ½ acre public park is small but an enjoyable place to have a picnic or walk your dog. From the pictures shown below, you are sandwiched in between residential homes in this beachfront community. Just down the road from the park is a beach access area. Use your discretion on accessing this area. There are signs posted for residence use only. From our experience we noticed a few people accessing the beach area that were not residence of Tillicum Beach. Be respectful to the Tillicum private community while you access this public area.

Directions: From Terry’s Corner follow East Camano Drive 9 miles. Turn East on Karen Way, and North on Tillicum Beach Dr to park.

60' wide public park in between the houses. Room for 4-5 cars to park off the street. 2 picnic tables and 100 drift logs. There is a path to the water, but you have to step over a few logs.
Great beach for launching kayaks both at high tide and low tide, but at high tide, there is only a few inches of beach remaining.
The shore along Camano from a mile south of here to the tip of the island is some of the most dramatic hillside you can find in the Puget Sound south of the San Juan Islands, (which are not technically part of the "Puget Sound").
