Description

Free public launch and parking on a sheltered bay of Lake Superior. Probably the best beach for launching a kayak on the lake.

When Gitche Gumee be blowin', Burlington Bay will frequently offer enough of a respite to be a destination on its own for a short paddle. From here you can head up or down the lake as your time and the weather allow.
