Description
Great little park. Walking/running trail with exercise stops. Covered tables and a playground for the kids. Short walk to the kayak/canoe launch. Crushed rock and a easy slope to get in and out. Two small docks. Portopody near tables that's normally clean. From this location you can either go up river to the lock in Schuylerville, then have a easy current assisted ride back to the park. Or go down river to the lock in Stillwater. Flat calm water, lots of eagles nests, great picture taking areas. Going up river you pass by the battlefield. Beautiful historic spot.
