Description

St Catherine’s is the base of the Jersey Canoe Club. A large breakwater provides sheltered water although a significant tide race can develop off the end. St Catherine’s is the main departure point for trips to Les Ecrehous. A beautiful reef midway between Jersey and France. Tidal streams do reach 5 knots so careful planning is required. Les Ecrehous is probably one of the finest one day sea kayak trips anywhere.
