Great place to launch for a trip downriver. Portage at the weir(about a mile downriver) to the left. Car park next to launch point is short stay(max 3hrs). Long stay is next to it - £5.60 all day……bus station across bridge…..5hrs to Riverside Inn and then 436 bus back( £3.30 single) from outside pub. Awkward to get out at pub but possible. Lovely paddle trip.
