Shipyard Island

Description

Shipyard Island is an island in the Yukon River. This is about 500 m below the former Woodyard Hootalinqua and is a popular stop for river hikers. To the right of the island lies the wreck of the paddle-wheel steamer, Evelyn. Numerous relics from the time of the Klondike Gold Rush are distributed on the small island.
