Description
You’ll hear the water rushing well before you get to the Dam, notice the red warning signs posted every .25 miles on the banks before reaching the Dam (it’s technically a dam BUT it’s more like an under water Sill, just be careful you won’t see until you’re in it, just listen for it and steer clear). It a really nice area to paddle around as long as you keep a good distance from the current by the Dam. You’ll see many little footpath pull up spots around here because when the water is low many boaters and paddlers get out and walk or hang out around the sill.
