Description
This location has easy access with a boat ramp. Paddle to your right as you face the river. This is a Bay Area with no current and has several places to explore easily. You have a good chance of seeing herons, egrets, white pelicans, and possibly some bald eagles. A bathroom is located in the campground. The small town has a couple eating options. During summer months, Icecream is available just past the campground next to the splash pad. Fishing can also be good. Access may be limited or not at all during periods of time when the river levels are very low.
