Description
Part of the 105,000 plus acres of the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. Follow Milltail Rd 6.2 miles in from US Hwy 64 to the parking area once you cross the bridge on Milltail Creek. There is a primitive launch and a floating dock. From this location to the Buffalo City launch is a several hour paddle. Not unusual to see alligators and jet fighters returning from the Dare County Bombing Range hiding in the southern part of the refuge.Location & Directions
