Medicine Creek SRA is locates a few miles north of Cambridge, NE. This is a large lake with lots of powered boats, but if you launch near the swimming beach adjacent to the RV campground you can explore this no wake cove and then after a short distance in the larger lake keep exploring the fingers of this lake. The main open lake does get pretty choppy on windy days, but the inlets are still fun to paddle in. There are a lot a fish you may see jumping and you may also see a heron or two. This SRA is very secluded and away from main roads with ample hiking opportunities. There are many ways to stay here, including a cabins, RV hookups, and tent areas.
