Description
A small older version boat access with a small dock and parking area on this smaller sized lake gives way to an intimate and lovely paddling experience on this beautiful clear and deep body of water. Surrounded by forest all around, there is a sense of being in the Superior National forest or somewhere heavily wooded and undeveloped, but there are some homes nearby --just unseen from the water, but very quiet. There is a gun range on the south side of the lake but again unseen but you can hear them shooting, not overly invasive. However, motors are not allowed but I believe electric trolling motors are. I see many people swim the length of the lake and a great place to bring family for floating fun. It is nice because it is so very quiet. It is my favorite place to Kayak.
