Description

On the West Coast of Tasmania close to the town of Tullah. There is a well formed boat ramp, plenty of parking and free camping nearby with no amenities. This is a beautiful big body of water which needs to be approached with intelligent caution a careful forecast observation. It can be tricky when the weather gets nasty and I have experienced mirror calm surfaces then 1/2 metre waves which were wiped up within 15mins and have heard waves crashing over the cabin of a boat at times.
