Description
A great place for kayaking, just be aware that this lake is very well used. The boat launch or beach are both great areas to put in, but be very careful of all the boats at the launch area.
The lake can get pretty rough, pretty quickly when the wind kicks up, so please make sure you have appropriate flotation equipment with you. But when it's calm, it's a gorgeous place to kayak, canoe and paddle board. I took the photo on one of those perfect days.
Also, the lake sits at about 4,500 feet in elevation, so it can get a little chilly once the sun goes down.
