Keyport Boat Launch

Description

Free to park and launch from the sand beach. Lots of pleasure boat and small charter traffic, so a radio is advised. Going up Matawan Creek to the “shark tunnel” is worth doing once for the novelty, but the creek is not very pleasant. 5 miles out and back to the tunnel. Paddling the area where the boats are moored is far more pleasant. Seasonal bathroom and this summer there has been a hotdog vender there and the dogs are pretty good!
