Peaceful little flat water location in the shadows of the Blue Ride mountains. Right of the Blue Ridge Parkway mile marker 297. Look for “Boat Rental” signs. Launch is right off the parking lot. Good amount of parking. If you venture out during a holiday weekend, get there early (9:30 ish or sooner), even with ample parking it fills up fast! There is a boat rental house with no amenities. Restrooms can be found at the camping site one exit prior/after to the launch point depending on which direction you’re coming from.
