Snohomish River

Description

There is a very primitive boat launch for drift boats here, but its very steep and often muddy. Not the most convenient spot to launch but its there and is convenient for exploring nearby or taking out before Snohomish. Pretty sure you need a Discover pass but there are some spots along the street too. Parking lot is super muddy with some rain so 4X4 advised. Paddling upstream from here is very challenging but I do it from time to time as a good workout. Might do a bit of portaging depending on river levels but I have made it from here to the 522 bridge and back with a lot of work (sweat). Wildlife is great, lots of fisherman in boats and on bank when the Salmon are running. No facilities.
