Description
This is the location of the areas most water rescues. STAY TO THE LEFT!!!!!! The Dam just above this point has up 2 water wheels that can be operated at the same time. Usually, they only operate only one at a time. The river does have tree hazards in this area and inexperienced boaters and floaters get caught and end up losing their boats. If you end up on the island, DON'T PANIC!!!! WALK TO THE OTHER END and yell at the house across the river... They see stranded boaters weekly... also the water is about waist deep at their house, so swimming across is a good option.
